HD Brows Vs Tattoo Brows<\/h4>\n

You all already know about my perfection with threading, so let me tell you about my perfection with HD Brows.\u00a0 I\u2019m not ashamed to admit that I am a bit of a compulsive neat freak when it comes to your brows.\u00a0 I\u2019m a true believer that your brows frame your face and finish off your look.<\/p>\n

Why did I choose to learn HD Brows?<\/h4>\n

Firstly my eyes brows, as you’re aware in my threading blog, have never been my best asset and have grown backwards, upwards and which-ever-wards they wanted to, so I decided to get my brows tattooed thinking that was the be all and end all, unfortunately, tattooing wasn\u2019t the best option and I’ll tell you why… The tattooist designed my shape leading me to believe that his choice was the best shape for my face, he started the procedure and told me to return in 6 weeks for a top-up.\u00a0 Returning back for my top-up, unlike some I don\u2019t have the best elasticity, my skin started to tear as the procedure was taking place, he continued with the treatment and finished of my second course, I paid \u00a3250.\u00a0 Don\u2019t get me wrong, I felt great at first – on top of the world to have a perfect brow.\u00a0 That was until my hairs started growing back and I wanted the arch in the brow and a shape I’d always desired, I wasn\u2019t told about the two yearly top-up at the start until I rang 12 months later and complained about my brows not being level and being too thin and looking discoloured.<\/p>\n

You can see from the picture how faded they have become but you can also see the tails are completely wrong, it was only when I came do my HD Brow course that I was made aware I don\u2019t even have a complete eyebrow tattoo.\u00a0 Unfortunately because of this I can never have a full HD Brow look due to the shape I\u2019ve been left with, this is because one arch is higher than the other and cannot be adjusted, this however has made me more of a perfectionist when it comes to doing my clients brows, I made myself a promise that I would never do to another what has happened to me, I\u2019m left with marks I can never rid myself of!<\/p>\n

As time goes by fashion changes, looks change, trends change, but you can never change a tattoo.<\/p>\n

The cons of having Tattoo eyebrow<\/h4>\n

  • You’re stuck with them forever, they can not be removed if you’re not happy with them.<\/li>\n
  • The procedure is costly<\/li>\n
  • Your skin changes with age and so will your brows<\/li>\n
  • Itchy healing process and scabbing (be prepared to stay indoors for a week or two!)<\/li>\n
  • Not technically permanent colour, top-ups are required<\/li>\n
  • Colour changes with natural sun and sunbeds<\/li>\n
  • Scaring<\/li>\n
  • Pain after procedure<\/li>\n
  • Hair still grows on and around the brow, up-keep is permanent.<\/li>\n
  • Now lets look back on a few of our most famous icons from the 40-50\u2019s<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    There have been many different looks, over the past decade, but relatively the same as our modern day HD Brow look.\u00a0 All are natural looks and not a tattoo in sight!\u00a0 I believe that with the time and effort over the last decade form famous icons that our natural look can only keep getting better and better.<\/p>\n
