It was nice to be back at Ettington Park Hotel, capturing an autumnal pre-wedding shoot at one of Warwickshire’s most picturesque and historic venues. Located in the heart of the county, Ettington Park is part of the Hand Picked Hotels group, known for properties that combine classic charm with beautiful surroundings, making them ideal for couples looking for a memorable and scenic location. Ettington Park’s Gothic architecture and extensive grounds make it especially captivating during autumn, with the landscape glowing in shades of red, orange, and gold. As a Warwickshire-based photographer, I’m always delighted when I get the chance to photograph couples at this enchanting venue.

The couple who joined me for this shoot were preparing for their upcoming wedding and, like many couples, were initially a bit camera-shy. This is exactly why a pre-wedding shoot is included in all wedding packages at John Fox Wedding Photography. This session not only gave them a chance to warm up to being in front of the lens but also allowed us to get to know each other better before their big day. As we wandered through the grounds, capturing moments in the quiet beauty of the season, they began to relax and truly enjoy the experience. With each passing moment, the couple’s natural chemistry emerged, and they soon forgot their nerves.
