Booked to Photograph a Wedding at The Mill Barns in September 2026 with John Fox Wedding Photography. I’m thrilled to share that John Fox Wedding Photography has been booked to photograph a wedding at The Mill Barns in September 2026! Although I’ve not yet had the pleasure of photographing at this beautiful Shropshire venue, I’ve already been researching its stunning features and the type of images it inspires. The photos I’ve seen highlight the venue’s natural elegance, with its oak-framed barns, serene waterscapes, and gorgeous landscaped grounds. I’m confident that my photography style will work beautifully with this venue, creating timeless images that reflect both the couple’s love and the venue’s breathtaking charm.
This booking was actually taken at the National Wedding Show at the NEC in Birmingham, where I had the opportunity to meet couples in person and discuss their wedding plans in detail. It was an exciting experience to connect with so many soon-to-be-weds and to share a preview of my work and vision. When this couple expressed their dream of having their wedding at The Mill Barns, I was immediately inspired by their vision, and I’m thrilled they chose me to capture their special day. Meeting them at the show allowed us to get a head start in planning, ensuring every detail aligns perfectly with their style.
Since this will be my first time working at The Mill Barns, the pre-wedding shoot included in every John Fox Wedding Photography package will be invaluable. The pre-wedding session will allow me to explore the layout of the venue, familiarise myself with its unique characteristics, and understand how the light moves through the barns and surrounding landscape. This early session also gives me a chance to get to know the couple and capture their natural connection at a venue that perfectly complements their style.
With so many picturesque spots – from the peaceful lakeside views to the atmospheric walkways, romantic bridges, and lush gardens – I’m looking forward to using the pre-wedding shoot to plan the best locations and angles that will tell their story in the most stunning way. Together, we’ll explore The Mill Barns’ indoor and outdoor spaces, ensuring that everything is set up to capture their day beautifully come September 2026.
