Kilworth House is a stunning rural house which is positioned in southern Leicestershire just off the M1 at junction 20. Close to Lutterworth and Market Harborough, Kilworth House was originally built for the High Sheriff of Leicestershire. The grounds consist of lovely lawns, woodland and a lake. Also hidden in the woodland at the bottom of the estate is Kilworth House Theatre. Their Story
Clare and Michael met while in Manchester on a student night out at the Ritz. Michael proposed to Clare in Santorini Greece. Clare and Michael booked John Fox Wedding Photography almost 12 months before their wedding date to ensure John was available photograph their wedding day.
Photography on the day
Well the day started by planning before Clare and Michael’s Wedding Kilworth House Kilworth Leicestershire John Fox Wedding Photography planned things at the couples pre-wedding shoot. Starting with the boys getting ready at Countersthorpe Leicestershire a few images were taken here before setting off to Knighton in Leicestershire to capture the bridal preparations. The weather at this point was warm but with a few drops of rain in the air. However after arriving at Kilworth House the day just got sunnier and warmer and warmer. The photographic style was split between reportage documentary and the classic group photography. Images were taken of the bride and groom either side of the wedding breakfast so as to enable the couple to spend more time with their guests before the meal. It also means getting to use some of the stunning evening sunlight.
