Coombe Abbey is steeped in history founded as an Abbey in the 12th century. Coombe Abbey was surrendered to King Henry VIII during the dissolution of monasteries, Queen Elizabeth lived at Coombe Abbey as a child to just tell you a little about this stunning venue in Warwickshire. John Fox Wedding Photography first photographed a wedding at Coombe Abbey before the turn of the millennium and has photographed many weddings at Coombe Abbey since then. Their Story
John Fox first started photographing weddings when he lived in Leicestershire so its great to have a Leicestershire story.
Jemma and Richard first met in March 2009 at a Leicester night club. While the couple where away in the stunning scenery of the Lake District in 2016 Richard proposed to Jemma and that lead to us all being at Coombe Abbey in May 2018.
Photography on the day
Photography on the day started at Coombe Abbey where Jemma and her bridesmaids were getting ready. The wedding ceremony took place in the Abbeygate part of Coombe Abbey before moving onto the Court House for the wedding breakfast and evening party. Jemma and Richard’s Wedding Coombe Abbey Coventry Warwickshire didn’t have the best of weather. Having said that it did stop long enough and dry up enough to get the family groups taken outside on Coombe Abbey’s terrace over looking the lovely lake.
