Looking back at 2024, I’m thrilled to share highlights from two beautiful weddings captured in Derbyshire, a county filled with picturesque landscapes and historic charm. John Fox Wedding Photography had the privilege of being the wedding photographer in Derby and Derbyshire in two locations in 2024, the idyllic village of Tissington and another at a central church in Derby, followed by celebrations at a family farm in Kirk Langley, Ashbourne.
A Wedding at Historic Tissington Hall
The village of Tissington is a gem of Derbyshire, known for its stunning architecture and the ancient tradition of Well Dressing, dating back centuries. This village’s history is woven into its landscape, with St. Mary’s Church—a 12th-century marvel—standing as a serene and timeless venue for a wedding.
The pre-wedding shoot at Tissington Hall was the perfect way to capture the couple’s connection while exploring the venue’s picturesque gardens and historic charm. On the wedding day, the blend of history and natural beauty created a storybook-like atmosphere that was a joy to document.
