Ilona and Daniel booked their wedding photography at Stoneleigh Abbey Warwickshire with John Fox Wedding Photography 12 months in advance of their special day. Ilona had always dreamed of having Warwickshire wedding photographer John Fox capture her wedding, as she had worked at Brownsover Hall Hotel in Warwickshire and had seen John’s stunning work at numerous weddings there. John’s reputation in the area made him the natural choice for their big day. The wedding took place at St Andrew’s Church Rugby Warwickshire and then onto the stunning Stoneleigh Abbey near Warwick in Warwickshire.

The pre-wedding shoot is where possible taken at the wedding venue so it was off to Stoneleigh Abbey we went to do this. Stoneleigh Abbey has stunning gardens that are adjacent to the river Avon. As you can see from the following pre-wedding shoot photographs the weather, wild flowers in the garden plus the setting are just stunning.

John Fox Wedding Photography in Warwickshire started the coverage on the day at the brides house in Bilton, Rugby in Warwickshire. The bridal preparation photographs take many different styles of photography all at one time. Reportage, product plus sometimes modelesque styling. Please note not all Churches have the same rules on photography so check before you book or you could be left disappointed. Wedding photography is not just about pressing the button, preparation gives results. John saw a beam of sunlight coming through a window shining on where the bride would enter St Andrew’s Church to be given away by her son. As you can see from this image it was a combination of getting in the right place plus waiting for the right moment. You can also see beautiful use of the sunlight on the signing of the register photograph. John loves using bounced light and the light here bouncing off the register into the brides face is simply stunning.
After the Church service at St Andrew’s in Rugby we headed off to Stoneleigh Abbey in Warwickshire close to Warwick. Upon arrival at Stoneleigh Abbey there is a tradition that the groom carries the bride over the bridge. Ilona and Daniel got out of their beautiful horse and carriage to keep the tradition.
After the family groups, wedding breakfast plus the speeches John from John Fox Wedding Photography took the happy couple into the beautiful gardens at Stoneleigh Abbey. The evening sunlight much nicer to create more flattering and romantic wedding photographs with. Spoilt by woodland, stone steps plus the river Avon John photographer based locally in Rugby in Warwickshire was spoilt for choice.
