Heart of England Conference & Events Centre
Tammy and Darren’s wedding at the Heart of England Conference & Events Centre, just off the A45 in Fillongley, Coventry, Warwickshire, was a beautiful celebration of love and creativity. This stunning venue offers a wealth of opportunities for breathtaking wedding images, from picturesque woodlands to a serene lake that provides the perfect backdrop. It had been some years since John Fox Wedding Photography last photographed at this venue, and it was a delight to return and capture unique and memorable moments once again.
Tammy and Darren’s Story
Tammy and Darren first met over 12 years ago while working at a call centre in Tamworth. Darren originally proposed in the Lake District more than eight years ago, but it wasn’t until he re-proposed on the sand dunes of Gran Canaria in 2016 that a wedding date was set. Upon returning from their holiday, the couple began planning their big day, with Darren choosing an engagement ring from Bicknells in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.
The Wedding Day
The day began with Tammy getting ready at her family home in Tamworth, where John Fox captured special pre-ceremony moments with her bridesmaids and family. Meanwhile, Darren and the groomsmen prepared at the Red Lion Hotel in Atherstone, where John also took a few candid shots of the boys getting ready.
The ceremony was held at the Sacred Heart Church in Glascote, Tamworth. Father Mike warmly welcomed the couple and allowed photography throughout the service, ensuring every meaningful moment was preserved. Tammy arrived at the church by bus with her bridesmaids and father, who proudly walked her down the aisle.
After the ceremony, guests were transported by bus to the Heart of England Conference & Events Centre. Here, family wedding photographs were taken in the beautiful outdoor spaces before everyone gathered to enjoy the wedding breakfast. Guests were entertained by the incredible Sam Willson Magic before sitting down to a delicious meal, followed by heartfelt speeches.
A Night to Remember
The evening festivities were held in the Heart of England’s vibrant function room, which has a stylish nightclub atmosphere, perfect for dancing the night away. Tammy and Darren’s celebration ended on a high note, with the couple enjoying their special day surrounded by loved ones and plenty of laughter.
