Brushing your body is an exercise itself for the largest organ you have, the skin. Body brushing eliminates waste, toxins and can help eliminate cellulite by reducing fat deposits toning muscles and tightening the skin.
It has also been said that body brushing can help to aid weight loss faster and more evenly if done on a regular basis and combined with a healthy diet. The benefits of brushing are second to none and my opinion is that everyone should have the treatment at least once a week.
Our bodies have a collection of lymphatic vessels responsible for draining fluid from your tissues, then deplete them back into the bloodstream. This acts as a second circulatory system, which is responsible for extracting infection-fighting cells, removing foreign matter and cleaning up cell debris.
Brushing our skin when it is dry is the most important part of body brushing, most people assume that brushing the skin wet give more benefits but this is just not the case, so all those times you’ve had your gloves on in the bath and scrubbed the skin red, all your doing is giving yourself an extra good clean. Trust me your not feeling the benefits you would when dry brushing, we all have those hard to reach places too so don’t struggle, a treatment at the salon is always a good option!
You really should protect your skin, let your skin feel the love from a pamper treatment, we are always treating our hair, nails, even our eyebrows but how often do we treat the most exposed part of our body! For all those who get spray tans or use sunbeds this treatment should be your number one priority, a dry body brush before you holiday will help to get the tan you desire, or maybe your not going away and need that glowing look from a spray tan I highly recommend this as your first port of call in the salon!
