Conventional nail polish will never live up to CND Shellac once you’ve tried it.  A great alternative to gel nails, which take longer to remove, this is a polish that doesn’t chip, smudge or lose its mirror shine for 14 days.  Maddalena’s is one of the popular salons in Cleckheaton known for using CND Shellac.

Known as ‘The Original Power Polish’, CND Shellac looks great and feels great too, giving your nails on both your fingers and toes a tough but shiny coating and enhancing their natural strength over time.  Your treatment will take around 30 minutes, but please allow 40 minutes if you need your previous Shellac manicure to be removed first.  This will be soaked off gently with Shellac remover wraps in just ten minutes.  Your cuticles will be prepped with CND’s Cuticle Away and your nails will be filed into a round, square or oval shape.  This is finished off with a durable CND Shellac topcoat to protect the colour.  We also have a huge choice of colours, from statement metallics to soft, feminine pinks, as well as glitters, so there’s something for every outfit, occasion or skin tone.

The Shellac formula is superior to other polishes and gel treatments because of its patented basecoat, which is cured with a CND LED curing lamp.  The lamp is also used between two coats of colour and after a protective Express Topcoat.  This ensures the colour remains strong and your manicure lasts the full 14 days, though the condition of your nails and wear and tear can affect it.

To ensure your Shellac manicure lasts as long as possible, we advise that our clients avoid submerging their hands in water for too long and biting the nails.  We also advise you use cuticle oil daily to maintain your manicure or pedicure for longer.
