Celia and Adam’s Elegant Celebration
Celia and Adam chose Grantley Hall in North Yorkshire for their elegant wedding and I had the honour of being their Grantley Hall wedding photographer. The day was filled with genuine warmth personality and unforgettable moments in one of the most exquisite venues in the country — a proud member of The Leading Hotels of the World.
Celia is the former owner of Kilworth House Hotel and I have known her for more than twenty years. Adam won the television talent show This Is My Moment in 2001 and we have been friends for seventeen years. Together they are deeply involved with Kilworth House Theatre where I have provided all production photography since its opening in 2007.
The days styling
Fulford Flowers styled the venue with soft tones and natural textures that complemented the grandeur of Grantley Hall. Harpist Soraya Vermeulen performed during the ceremony and reception adding a graceful soundtrack that carried through each part of the day.
The Photography style
Adam and Celia requested a relaxed natural approach to their photography — often referred to as documentary or reportage style. This allowed the day to unfold without interruption while I captured real emotion and spontaneous moments as they happened. Though I offer a range of photographic styles this honest and unobtrusive method suited their day perfectly.
