From The Mill Barns in Shropshire
Rikki and Jack’s beautiful wedding album has now arrived following their amazing wedding at The Mill Barns in Shropshire. I photographed their wedding from the preparations through to the celebrations. Therefore it was fantastic to see their photographs come together in a finished album. It really is the final part of their wedding story.
Mill Barns Wedding Album
The Mill Barns hosts many weddings throughout the year. As a result I have had plenty of opportunities to photograph weddings there. I have photographed three weddings at The Mill Barns this year. Each wedding has brought its own story.
Rikki and Jack’s wedding was no exception. Their day included laughter emotion and plenty of memorable moments with family and friends. From the morning preparations through to the evening celebrations I photographed the people and moments that made their wedding unique.
Consequently I knew their finished album would need to tell the complete story. Rather than simply choosing a collection of favourite photographs I wanted the album to take them back through the day.
From Their Mill Barns Wedding To Their Wedding Album
One of the things I love about wedding photography is seeing the story come together during the album design. First I choose the photographs that tell the story. Then I arrange them across the pages so each part of the wedding leads naturally into the next.
For example the album can begin with the preparations before moving into the ceremony. Afterwards the story can continue through the portraits family photographs speeches and evening celebrations. In this way the finished album reflects the way the wedding actually unfolded.
A single image on a computer or USB can bring back a memory. However an album gives those photographs a much bigger role. Instead of viewing individual images separately you can turn the pages and experience the whole story again.
Rikki and Jack’s album brings together the people places emotions and moments that made their day so memorable. Furthermore the finished book gives them something physical to hold rather than leaving their photographs hidden away on a screen.

For me the photography does not finish when I deliver your online gallery. Instead I continue the story through the wedding album. I include a wedding album within my packages so you can enjoy your favourite photographs in print as well as online.
Once I have selected the photographs I design the album around the story of your wedding. I consider the way each image works with the next one. I also make sure the album moves naturally from the beginning of the day through to the celebrations.
As a result the finished album becomes much more than a collection of photographs. It becomes a way to revisit the people places emotions and moments that made your wedding special.
Rikki and Jack’s album has now arrived. Therefore I can finally see their wedding story in its finished form. They can enjoy the album now with their family. More importantly they can return to it for many years to come.
